Dr. Dario Vignali awarded grant by NCI for Cancer Immunology Training Program

Dr. Dario Vignali, Professor and Vice Chair of Immunology, has been awarded a T32 training grant by the National Cancer Institute for the Cancer Immunology Training Program at the University of Pittsburgh.

The NCI Cancer Immunology Training Program (T32 CA082084 - $477,000/year), one of the two central training programs directed by Immunology Department faculty, has been renewed for 5 years, commencing its 16th year of funding.  It will support 5 pre-doctoral students and 3 post–doctoral fellows who will conduct research into a wide variety of cancer immunology-focused projects.

Joining Dr. Vignali as Co-PIs on the training grant are Dr. Robert Binder, Associate Professor of Immunology, and Dr. Lisa Butterfield, Professor of Medicine.
